The 23rd Winter Enzyme Mechanisms Conference will be held at the Loews Coronado Bay Hotel & Resort, Coronado, California from Thursday, January 3rd to Monday, January 7th, 2013.

The 23rd EMC will begin with an opening reception in the evening of Thursday, January 3rd and will end with a banquet on the evening of Sunday, January 6th, with conferees departing on Monday, January 7th. The General Sessions will consist of invited talks and will be held during the morning and evening on Friday and Saturday and all day on Sunday. Posters will be displayed throughout the course of the meeting with dedicated Poster Sessions in the afternoons of Friday and Saturday. Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows are strongly encouraged to attend and present their work in poster format. Conferees will be free in the afternoons of Friday & Saturday to enjoy the many activities available in Coronado Bay.

The Enzyme Mechanisms Conference was founded in 1969 by Tom Bruice, Bill Jencks, and Myron Bender and traditionally focuses on chemical aspects of enzymatic reaction mechanisms. The conference attracts a large audience from academia, industry and government. The EMC is supported entirely by generous sponsorship and registration fees.
